2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Kilt/Jacobite Shirt Sewing Pattern??? on: January 15, 2005 04:08:41 AM
Hello everyone,

Has anyone come across a sewing pattern for a kilt or jacobite shirt (with a collar and laced-up neckline)? I'd be really grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction. I've looked at likely sites, like Folkwear. Any ideas?

Hi everybody,

Has anybody tried making up a Sense & Sensibility dress ( www.sensibility.com )? I wondered how easy they are, and what the finished results are like?

Please forgive me if this has already been discussed... I'm looking to buy two metal square rings to join the handle to the bag I'm making. I've found D-rings for sale, but the pattern (Simplicity 4759) specifies square or rectangular rings. Also, I can't find decorative zip pulls anywhere. I'm in the U.K., and if anyone can help with an online or normal shop, I'd be grateful.

Thanks in advance.
