Thank you for sharing this post.   I had no idea that silk worms were often harvested along with the silk.  It was interesting to see your process from start to finish.
5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: 2013 Christmas Tree Along! on: December 12, 2013 08:59:01 AM
I love seeing everyone's trees.  I need to take a picture of mine.  I bought a new one this year so that it wasn't as big around (the thing was HUGE!!!)  So I don't have to use "filler" ornaments this year.  They are almost all ornaments that are special to us.  We have a tradition, every year we buy a new ornament for our tree for each person.  My husband started giving me ornaments when we were dating in high school.  I thought it was the sweetest Christmas gift!  So now we buy atleast one new ornament per person per year.  I say one, but we usually end up with more than one, LOL.

7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: I-spy fabric squares on: December 06, 2013 05:30:22 AM
I haven't done one either.  I was hoping there would be more interest.  I haven't been on any swap on this site, so I can't run this myself.  I was hoping to find someone to organize it as well.
8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / I-spy fabric squares on: October 22, 2013 06:25:26 PM
I've been wanting to make an eye spy quilt for a while now.  I've not done a swap on craftster before but I'd be interested in joining if someone ran this swap.  I don't think one has been done in a while.
