1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / 18th century noble woman for Halloween. on: November 05, 2008 07:04:21 PM
It's a two piece costume with a bodice that's fully boned in the front and laces in the back. It has a skirt attached to the bodice. The under skirt is the same material as the bodice and fits over a full crinoline. I was wearing a white peasant blouse and black gloves and of course jewelry to complete the look. I made this outfit myself and am very pleased with the results. And this is made from a pattern I drafted myself -first time ever. Tell me what you think!

2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Grey sweater that's stretched out of shape. on: September 18, 2007 09:18:42 PM
I have a grey woolen/acrylic blend sweater that's stretched out of shape. It's a medium and has a zipper front and a collar. Any suggestions? It's just itching to be remade!  Grin
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Recycled Hippie Bag on: September 17, 2007 02:24:34 PM
Here's a pix a very simple bag I made in less than an hour. All materials were given to me or found - with the exception of the green material.

I hope you like it as much as I do.  Smiley
