1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / My little Link on: November 17, 2010 02:11:51 PM
This was my son's first Halloween and made him a Link costume!  I had so much fun sewing it and seeing the whole thing come together.  I pretty much wanted him to be Link since the day I found out I was having a boy.  So without further ado, I present Link!

The sword and shield were made of felt and cardboard.  My favorite part of his costume were the boots.  I want to make a whole bunch of them now!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Tuxedo Dress on: March 18, 2009 12:33:53 PM
I saw a few cute tuxedo dresses that I couldn't afford and decided one day to try it myself.  I sketched out what I wanted and then grab a shirt from my hubby's closet and a long skirt that I never wore, and went to work.  I'm really pleased with the results!

Here are some pictures of it:

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / World of Warcraft in case of emergency on: February 05, 2008 12:03:36 PM
I was perusing craftster and stumbled upon this awesome project:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=213999.0

and I knew I had to make one for my hubby.  This is his v-day present.  I could find one single bottle so I got three little ones and made 3 "potions":  Uber health potion, Super rejuvenation potion and Uber mana potion.  I know they aren't real, but I think hubby will really get a kick out of them.  Thank you Dishwasher182 for the fab idea!  You rock!

Sorry for the bad pictures...I had trouble getting them to look this good...

4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Ballet Shoes! on: January 29, 2008 07:29:21 PM
This is my first post to show off a project.  I love craftster!  I have been lurking for quite sometime.  I must say I am very intimidated but totally inspired by the collective talent here!  I've decided I need to get out here and start posting and commenting!

I having been seeing all these darling baby shoes, here but I really wanted some ballet type slippers.  I found a pattern on this site: http://www.heatherbaileydesign.com/BittyBooties.pdf
It wasn't quite what I wanted but it gave me a really good base to work with.  I played around with the pattern till I got what I wanted.  They turned out so cute!

Comments and criticism welcome!
