Great Job! I used the Jordy for one of my first patterns too! And I have a tip to offer you. Try topstitching the top edge when it is done, I was amazed at how crisp and clean the top edge becomes just by running a seam around, I usually use 1/8". Go right over the sides where the handles are inserted as well.
So I think I got unnecessarily excited when I realized I recognized the majority of those Chinese characters. Where did you get that fabric??? It's so amazing!
And the bag itself is really cool, too. Haha! Great job, really!
i hope it says all good things! I have no idea what they mean. I got lucky found it on the Joann's clearance rack for $1.00 a yard!! Should have bought the rest of the bolt, think I only picked up 2 yards!
Great bag! You did a very good job on that! How do you like that closure.... the reverse snap closure? I'm always looking for various closures and wondered what you thought of that one? Thanks for sharing! Mimi!
Thank You!! I like it because it is different and gives a different look to the bag, however I haven't used it. My mom thought it was neat, will have to get a report after she uses it. I like that it doesn't 'squeeze ' the bag shut at the top and keeps it the size of the gusset.
I love your bag. It looks really well constructed. But I love your door handle even more!!
Funny u mention the closet door handle. Room is painted blue with white clouds, was the previous owners kid's playroom, never changed it because it was does very nicely. But never changed the kiddie hardware.
