Great Job!  I used the Jordy for one of my first patterns too!  And I have a tip to offer you.  Try topstitching the top edge when it is done, I was amazed at how crisp and clean the top edge becomes just by running a seam around, I usually use 1/8".  Go right over the sides where the handles are inserted as well.

Keep Up the great work!

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Scarf and Leg Warmers for my Pup on: January 26, 2010 11:46:34 AM
This is such a great idea! Too bad most pup's will eat the leg warmers quicker than you can make 'em.

Adorable pup you've got. Did you train her to bow, or was that just a happy photo accident lol?

SHE EATS EVERYTHING!!!!  And yes she does know 'Take a Bow' Wink  Thanks for looking!

My Lovely Leila well accessorized!

Ok So I am a CRAZY puppy Mommy but I couldn't resist.  It was cute while it lasted, until she wanted to eat the leg warmers.

And here is a close up - her Christmas Card pic with scarf!

So I think I got unnecessarily excited when I realized I recognized the majority of those Chinese characters. Where did you get that fabric??? It's so amazing!

And the bag itself is really cool, too. Tongue Haha! Great job, really!

i hope it says all good things!  I have no idea what they mean.  I got lucky found it on the Joann's clearance rack for $1.00 a yard!! Should have bought the rest of the bolt, think I only picked up 2 yards!

Thanks for looking!

Great bag! You did a very good job on that! How do you like that closure.... the reverse snap closure?  I'm always looking for various closures and wondered what you thought of that one?
Thanks for sharing!
Mimi!

Thank You!! I like it because it is different and gives a different look to the bag, however I haven't used it.  My mom thought it was neat, will have to get a report after she uses it.  I like that it doesn't 'squeeze ' the bag shut at the top and keeps it the size of the gusset.

Thanks again!

I love your bag.  It looks really well constructed.  But I love your door handle even more!!

Funny u mention the closet door handle.  Room is painted blue with white clouds, was the previous owners kid's playroom, never changed it because it was does very nicely.  But never changed the kiddie hardware. Wink
