1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Afghan for Dad, Christmas 2009 "Tha Mangroves" on: March 01, 2010 04:32:32 PM
I think it was somewhere around 48" to 54" by 60" to 66".  Forgot to take measurements, but it's plenty big enough to cozy up under while watching tv in his recliner.

TY  Smiley  I picked the colors so they would compliment my dad's decor.  They were also on clearance, lol, I wish I had bought more, I really liked the colors, too.
I think the best part of it is that it was worked as one piece, I hate having to join squares!
3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: My GIANT jellyfish. A.k.a. My ultimate stashbuster project.*NOW WITH PATTERN!!* on: February 28, 2010 10:53:58 PM
I have an overwhelming desire to make one as a hat!  LOL!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Afghan for Dad, Christmas 2009 "Tha Mangroves" on: February 28, 2010 10:46:18 PM
I bought this yarn thinking to use a specific pattern, but decided instead to pick a few patterns from a 63 pattern stitch booklet.  I call it "The Mangroves" because of the colors, brown from roots, green for seaweed, blue for water, multi for seashells and sea glass.  It's probably my largest project I've ever finished.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: my wedding gown!!! on: December 01, 2009 11:34:45 PM
I like the way yours turned out better than the original 'one'.  I like the v cut in the bodice.  WTG!  and congrats!
6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Apology's if you collect souvenir spoons........."Poverty means no Holidays" on: December 01, 2009 11:18:48 PM
I like it.  It makes me think of how easily disposable things have become in our society.
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: My completely redecorated first home on: January 26, 2009 01:01:38 AM
FAN FREAKIN" TASTIC!!!
I just went through the slide show of your pics - WOW!  What a difference, you've probably just sweated yourself into a nice chunk of equity.  There was so much that needed to be done, I wonder how many people passed that gem in the rough by because of it.
You could do up a portfolio and do some interior decorating for others (make sure you get any licensing necessary).
Your color choices were wonderful, every corner looks inviting.

Thank you so much for sharing!
8  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Fun design site on: January 16, 2009 02:31:03 AM
oooh!  I like that design!  I think it would be pretty easy to do that in crochet, too, though there would be a bit of sewing them together.

hmmm, I must go hunt through my stash.

Pretty!
Have you ever knit or crocheted a bobble or small ball?  That may work in place of a button.
10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: .:Undies Swap ~ Fave Themes:. on: December 29, 2008 12:25:19 AM
I love everything that everyone has made! This has been a great swap, even though I was distracted with life and calender events! Thanks for making this a great swap everyone!
P.S. M fox, every time I look at the devo/cacti shirt, I can't help thinking about what a brilliant idea that is!!! I also love that song that is on the panties!  Grin
Yay!  I'm so happy you like the Devo Cacti!
I'm loving the Gir and Foxy sets - will be putting on the Foxy after my shower.

This was a very fun swap, thank you Bsonlytoots for organizing, and all the participants for the great work they've done.   Grin
