I came home today to a cool package awaiting me in the mailbox!! :-)

This is a peanut butter cake from scratch using this recipe http://www.recipespin.com/recipedetail.aspx?id=51 and chocolate buttercream icing from the Wilton Site.  The decorations are peanut butter buttercream icing which I made from leftover buttercream icing that I added about 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter to.






The ladies at work are going to hate me as I build my portfolio!  LOLL!

I have been watching The Cake Boss and a looking through here at cakes and decided to finally make my first fondant for Father's Day.

I used the Hershey's Perfect Chocolate Cake Recipe from their website...

Wiltons recipe for buttercream and Wilton Fondant.

So here it is... Photography is my passion though LOL!

She loves her new tote bag!
The dress was 2 or 3 years old that I had made from that fabric that has the shirring at the top...
So I cut that off and made her a bag from it.
I made a zipper pocket for the first time ever too!!!

So I made this rag quilt over the weekend.  These are 9 inch squares and it's a lap quilt.

This was so easy and fun to make!

Wow it took me around 1 1/2 months of working randomly on this... 
I never actually had a few days to straight work on this quilt but it's finally done! :-)



And I made the binding out of some matching pumpkin fabric I had left. :-)  Worked quite well keeping DH and I warm on the porch.

This was fun and easy to make. I didn't follow a pattern and did a major goof but fixed it to where you can't even tell thank goodness!

I finally did it... I've had this speedball kit in the closet for over a year! WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?!?!?!?! I love screen printing!  Imade this for my husband who is a SheetMetal Worker!!! aka TinKnocker!
This was a trial run on an old work shirt... Once I get brave enough to try photo emulsion it will be nicer! I did the Drawing Fluid and Screen Filler method for this one...
