211  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: People & portraits, some nudity & img heavy! on: November 07, 2007 03:03:56 PM
Wow, I really love your use of line, not just with outlines, but with shading, too.  It seems like the method you use to shade really matches each personality-- harder, more obvious lines for wilder portraits, blending for softer ones... lovelovelove them.   Smiley
212  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Fashion Doodling Anyone? on: November 07, 2007 02:49:52 PM
Hi,  I haven't posted on this thread before, but I came upon it a couple days ago, and it's sooo inspiring!  I'm currently spending so much time doing fashion sketches for collage applications that I barely have time to breathe, but whenever I feel like I just can't do another one, I look at all the amazing work on here, and suddenly I can't wait to get started again.  Thank you soooo much everyone!!! Hopefully when I'm accepted someplace I'll be able to take some pictures of my own stuff and put it on here.  Yay!  Thanks everyone!  Smiley
213  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / Re: Dyeing Opaque Tights on: November 05, 2007 02:53:58 PM
Wow, what a cool idea!  I love bright tights, but I can never find really opaque ones.  What kind of dye did you use?  (Sorry if that's a stupid question, but sometimes they say not to try dyeing synthetics with them)   They'd be awesome as part of a really mod outfit...  Smiley Tres cool.
214  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Ocean Waves Stole on: September 16, 2007 09:37:17 AM
Ooh, that's gorgeous!  I love how you combined the color and the pattern-- Very lovely.
215  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: I am kind of strange on: September 16, 2007 05:22:07 AM
I like that a LOT.  The square neckline is so pretty!  And I like the words and the picture, too.  Smiley
216  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Recycled T-Shirt on: September 13, 2007 05:35:42 PM
Very cute-- I love how the sequins are sparkly and fun, without being over-the-top flashy, so it could be worn day or night.  Comfy glamour is the best!!! I really like it, I might have to root through my drawers and see what I can find to do that with.  Cheesy   Love it!
217  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Ribbon drop-stitch scarf AND THE LESSON OF DYELOTS. on: September 10, 2007 06:58:00 PM
Ya know what?  I like it anyway!  Just loop it over like you do in the picture, and it just looks like the shadow from the other side of it.  As for the whole cookie thing... make some more cookies, eat some, and then do, like, 5 sit-ups.  Guilt gone!  Feel better, chiquita!  Oh, and I really like the stitch your scarf is in. Smiley
218  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Super Mario World- Now in Felt Board Form!! (4 big pics) on: September 10, 2007 01:56:55 PM
Adorable!!!  What a fun toy!  I love how you did old-school Mario, and your Yoshi is so cute, too!  Cheesy
219  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Snowflake the Bird - My first attempt at amigurumi on: September 09, 2007 08:04:20 AM
Oooh, that's too cute!  I don't really crochet (my 9-year-old cousin helped me make a little square), but I think I'll have to learn some more just so I can make one of these little guys!  I love his sweet little face!  Cheesy
