1  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Three new cakes over the last couple weeks... on: June 26, 2011 10:47:05 PM
I especially like the mushrooms on the Tinkerbell cake -- they look so cute and tasty!  Are they edible, too?  Because if I was presented with this cake, they'd be the first bit I'd want to nom on.
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / polyclay accessories for Holmes and Watson plushies! on: June 26, 2011 10:30:25 PM

I made Holmes and Watson as plushie bats, and they really needed something more.  So, I made them some cute little accessories out of polymer clay.  For Holmes there's a pipe, a magnifying glass, and a syringe, and Watson gets a cane and a doctor's bag.  The cane has a toothpick inside it to keep it from bending, and the pipe stem and the thin bits of the syringe are held in shape by thin wire.  The glass in the magnifying glass is made of hot glue.  There are also some little polyclay peeps, because I like peeps.
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Cloud Necklaces on: June 26, 2011 10:19:29 PM
They're both really cute.  I like the storm cloud best, though -- it makes me want rain!
4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Fairy house and yard - image heavy on: June 26, 2011 10:17:03 PM
This is so delicate, and it looks like it took a lot of work!  I want to live there, though...
5  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Cutie Pot Heads By Strawberry Anarchy... on: June 26, 2011 10:14:57 PM
As I saw each picture I thought, "This one is my favorite!"  I love how colorful they are!  I wish I could grow something so adorable, but alas, only tomatoes.
6  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Sailor Moon DS Styli (styluses?) on: June 26, 2011 12:29:50 PM

I made these out of polymer clay, with cut down toothpicks at the center so that they'd be straight.  They work on the Nintendo DS, and also most of the other stylus-requiring devices we tried them on.  Only the Apple devices didn't work.

They were taped down to take the picture, so parts of them look fuzzy, but they aren't really.  The pen is there to show the scale.
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Jack Sparrow Bookends! on: June 26, 2011 12:20:20 PM
That's so cool!  I squeed like crazy.  Jack is great, and the Pearl is lovely!
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Sock Chthulu! on: June 26, 2011 12:15:33 PM
Cthulu is luring you in to a false sense of security with his unutterable cuteness.  He will wait until you can no longer believe that he is evil, then he will bring back the Elder Gods!  You have brought destruction on us all!  Adorable, adorable destruction!
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Ludo FRIEND on: June 26, 2011 11:54:40 AM
Ludo is great!  Good job.
And remember, fun fur sucks to work with, but it's always worth it in the end, yeah?
10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Skeleton Bird Art Doll on: June 26, 2011 11:52:19 AM
So cool and creative.  I love the contrast of the black and white skeleton and the bright wings and feather.  Lovely!
