I love your bag soooo much! I think it just inspired me to make one for myself. I have a hard time finding a small weekender bag so quick little trips my husband and I make. Everything in the store is just so...I dunno...generic?? I just got some awesome fabric at the thrift store that I may try. I love thrift store zippers too. They're awesome! I know it's not how you wanted it to turn out, but it looks great! That quilting technique is one of my favorites right now. I love the print of the fabric on the back. Good job!! Smiley

I found a great linen dishtowel at a thrift store and made this bag out of it.

I really like how it turned out. Can't wait to try some more stuff with some crazy 70's fabric I found at the thirft store as well!

Aww it's really adorable!!! I love the little trail of buttons behind it. As for the edges of your applique, are you doing that on your machine? Which setting do you use? I really want to do some appliques....Thanks!
