1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Recycled Tire Purse! on: June 26, 2008 08:33:49 PM
Let me first say, "I did NOT make this!"  I found it on an auction site.  However, I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread and wanted to share it so someone on Crafster could take this idea and make their own...cooler...vers ion!

2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Neckties Tablecloth??? on: August 26, 2006 04:56:44 PM
I never tire of neckties project, but this one was especially cool.  How great would a bed quilt made in this fashion be??

This is not my creation...I actually found it on eBay where it's being auctioned right now.  Very cool, though!
3  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Hair accessories with fabric? on: August 05, 2006 05:28:15 PM
Actually, you gave me an idea!  I wonder if I could make a fabric-covered button...then attach the button to an elastic ponytail holder?  Hmmmm...

Thanks for the suggestions!
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Hair accessories with fabric? on: August 04, 2006 09:26:17 PM
I made a bunch of really cute, printed skirts to wear to work, but I have all this great fabric left over.  I'd like to make something I could wear in my hair, but I have challenges here.  Scarfs do NOT stay in my fine hair (plus we aren't allowed to wear them at work).  I'd like to figure out how to make a hair clip or ponytail holder with fabric in it (NO fabric flowers...oh how I hate them!).

Does anyone know of any resources for these suckers?  Thanks!!

Actually, I was just thinking about making one for my room as well!  Maybe a solid-colored border...or a modern paisley ribbon instead?
