Hello folks Smiley

After taking a 6 month hiatus from crafting, I decided it was time to overhaul my products and ended up redesigning all of them.

I wanted to share them with ya'all because I'm terribly excited with how they turned out.

2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Coloring soaps to look like stone and making molds on: October 13, 2007 06:18:12 PM
Heya folks, I'm hoping someone can help me.

I'm trying my hand at making soaps and  I have a very specific look I need to achieve.

First, the color that I'm trying to come close to is :

What can i add to the soap to get close to this? What color soap should I start out with? Clear, white?

Also, I have created a soap and carved it in the shape that I want, what is the easiest way to make a mold to recreate this?

A thousand thank yous Smiley

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Duct Tape Wallet on: September 10, 2007 09:35:53 AM
As a compliment to the laptop sleeve I made, this is the wallet that I'm currently using thats pink, brown, and silver.

I plan on making a new one when I figure out the colors that I wanna use.

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Duct Tape Tinkerbell Laptop Sleeve on: September 10, 2007 09:34:52 AM
I needed a sleeve for my laptop and since its a 17inch screen one, its hard to find any cute ones that fit. I decided to try out a duct tape one. unfortunately, the brown was too dark, and the pink too bright for  me to do my original color theme of mocha and blush pink. I picked up some 1/4 inch foam from Joanne's and 2 rolls of green duct tape, and 1 roll of pink. You can't see the inside, but its lined with 2 sheets of pink foam from the craft store and pink duct tape. The handle is made with wrapped cord.

I want to do it again, but I'd like to try and use clear duct tape over scrapbook paper.

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / World of Warcraft Coasters on: September 10, 2007 09:25:54 AM
I've been on a WoW kick as of late and needed some new coasters. I made these out of cork, scrapbook paper, printouts from images online, and paint.

6  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / World of Warcraft Hearthstone on: September 09, 2007 07:41:07 AM
I made these after seeing the ones that were sold at Blizzcon. I made 2 sizes, one for pendant, one for keyring, and I was thinking of making a smaller one for  cell phone charm.

The next stage of development is hollowing out the inside and using "clear" polymer and installing a blue LED into it so it actually glows >.<

Whatcha think about these?

(i'm new, so I can't post the picture)
