Wow, that's so beautiful. Great work. I like the colors too.
5  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Aleita Shell, Interweave Knits this spring on: April 11, 2008 12:33:25 AM
Yesterday evening I divided for the fronts and the back. Now I'm going to knit both fronts at the same time (with two skeins of cause).
6  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: #2 Sideways Cardigan (Cover Knitting Vogue this spring) anyone? on: April 07, 2008 02:00:11 AM
Yesterday was my swatch-day. So 10 skein of Baros by Schachenmayr aren't stash anymore. I'm happy about that, because I've got toooooooooo much stash.

I looked the model under her right arm and decided, to go on as before: increase in the 10th row and this two times again, but i will change the increases into left stitches.

So, now I have to divide for the front overlap and to find my second circular.
Also I have to solve a problem with the following waist increases. I'm not understanding what they mean with: increase at waist every 6th row once (10th row after last waist increase), then every 10th row once.  Huh What I have to do now?

Oh, I'm sorry to hear, that your sisters baby is so sick. How much worries. I wish the best for the baby, his/her parents and your whole family, you inclusive.
I suggest, you could craft something like

that

because it isn't easy for tiny little baby's to stay warm (my twin-sons were born within the 35. week with 2400 g/2700g and 41/43cm, every time they had hands cold as ice..).
Fleece helps to stay warm, even you don't know, if the baby is allergic to lanolin. I think, an acrylic yarn won't be warm enough. Something like cashmere or alpaca, not fuzzy, will be good. I hope that helps a little bit. All the best!

Ah, yes, the baby will need many warm hats and socks, too.

Another evening, another skein. I left the first dec and the first inc out, also I had not used the smaller circular needle ( twin-belly and 10 kg to much weight) at the beginning. I'm thinking about a second shell in cotton-viscose blend in lilac. Yes, I know, that's pretty much to early to say...
