This is the garland I made for the entryway.  I'm loving the turquoise and red together.

2  Neurotransmitter Bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by TracyBSN on: May 22, 2008 08:41:46 PM
This is another swap item for the science is art swap.  It was an amazing swap and a lot of really wonderful artsy/sciency items came out of it!  Check out the gallery...you will not be disappointed.

This was made with shrinky plastic and glass beads.  I really liked it and I plan on making one for myself.

I love how the brain turned out.

3  Mighty Chondria T Shirt in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by TracyBSN on: May 22, 2008 07:56:25 PM
I made this up for the Science is Art Swap.  I am a complete geek....

I just drew it, scanned it, then Ironed it on (that was after a few dozen trial drawings Smiley).  This was my first iron on and I do believe it is my favorite thing to do now Smiley

And here it is modeled..

4  Robots have hearts bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by TracyBSN on: May 22, 2008 02:54:46 PM
I made this for the Science is Art Swap.  I remembered seeing this robot on a clip art site moons ago and pulled what I remembered from the file in my brain Smiley

I wanted something industrial for the handles so I used grommets and linked the chain through the grommets.  I used rhinestones for the eyes and fabric paint for the heart.

Any way here it is being modeled by my youngest:

And a closer shot where you can see the handles/grommets better.

6  Re: Magic Yarn Ball Swap Round 8: The Gallery in The Swap Gallery by TracyBSN on: May 20, 2008 01:45:43 PM
I now have pics of the Jewelry Teapot sent me.  Each one represents my daughters

There are handprints and their names engraved.  She also sent pendants for their pictures and a beautiful necklace.  You may also recall that she sent a button bracelet.  Which everyone truly loves!

Thank you teapot.  I really enjoyed swapping with you.

VeganPickles received, but I believe she is busy so I will post pics of what I sent her.

A neurotransmitter bracelet made with shrinky dinks:

A Robot have hearts too bag (modeled by my youngest)

And A "Mighty Chondria" T-shirt (again modeled by the youngest)

a close up of "Mighty Chondria"

So at work they saw this and said "wow, you're even nerdier than we thought..."

I think Teapot meant she's not cheating by not posting pics... Smiley

I will post a pic of her ball and her medium since she will have already seen that  Grin

And my daughter modeling the medium

I received my pattern and it is for an aran Scarf.  The yarn is so lovey soft that I can't wait till winter to wear (cuddle) it Smiley

Fruitloops, The kids have painted two of them and this weekend we are going to embellish them.

As most of you know my MYB turned into a scavenger hunt Smiley Very fun!  I found some finger puppets hanging out with a little Monkey
