1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: something new for baby on: February 04, 2008 03:32:21 AM
Wonderful! I highly admire anybody who is able to knit. I am not. When I saw this I was amazed because this job is perfect. I wonder how long could it take to you to make it. It is simply great. And is it simple for you to follow the knitting instructions? Maybe I could learn too as I am still young  Grin

Hi! The work you've done is nice. But what I must appreciate the most is how much love and generosity of this Christmas gift. You surely are a nice person with kind heart. I wish you well and your granny as well. Although you know very well yourself that those things are in God's hands.

Thank you again for your kind words.

The microfibre has some fantastic qualities. It is perfect both for insulation from freeze and heat. Also it is suitable for people suffering for dust allergies and you can wash it up to 90C.

It nearly feels like when I was a little girl and all the presents for Christmas were hand made. Grin

Pattern I used is from Ottobre design, but strongly modified, not difficult. This pattern is from 4/2006 issue, you can check it out on their web www.ottobredesign.com. Thank you for compliments!

Thank you for compliments!
Well the black fabric is some rest which is used usually for duffel coats. The potholder itself is from grey (?), ecru fabric. Those were only little pieces so what else to do with them then something small and easy. And the lining is from microfibre. Also I could post the pattern of the glove but I don't want to offend anybody as it is super easy to draw.

Hi everybody!
I finished a pair of potholders for my mum who's dog has passed away this summer. I will give it to her under the Christmas  tree. So now she can have two of them! I made the pattern myself.

Pattern is:

The result is:

I believe she will like it.

Hi there!
Here in Europe it gets quickly very cold so I was thinking to make some nice outfit for my little baby girl (she got her ears pierced today...Embarrassed). It is completely lined with fleece. I also have a jacket from this outfit, so now we make a perfect match.

Here is my girls jacket.

And here is my jacket.

Hi there, I added the patten but I didn't prepare any tutorial. Feel free to ask if you don't know how to sew it.

Bye Alena
