1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Altoid Tin Themed Swap-Round 11 Gallery on: August 28, 2008 06:01:36 PM
I'm lovin' the owl theme! The tin itself is very well done. It's so cute! Great job echo_brook! Those little quilled owls are my favorite part. ^^ I love quilling. The pendant is very professional and I'm jealous! I love all of your owls...they're just so cute! The pouch is adorable too! Such a great start to the swapping world, echo! Cheesy

Great job!

I'd better get gluing, molding, assembling, sewing, weaving, quilting, collaging, knitting, crocheting, photographing and more! (Just kidding, Illusen! I actually can't do some of those things....)

Haha...Smiley

Hehe, Smmart. I'll be good, I promise. ^_^

My planning went great, and the beginnings of my crafting are going great too. Wink I'm having a blast so far!

Nicely made and all, but that really freaks me out. :p Granted, I could see that that's what you were going for.

And now I bestow upon you pictures of craftywillow's package to me!

My very own Gryffindor scarf! I've wanted one ever since I started reading the books, and since I fail at knitting/crocheting/any fiber art really, this was absolutely fantastic. I love it! Cheesy

The scarf in all it's glory!

Two action shots! Please excuse my funny looking arms.

A Gryffindor wall hanging!

A close-up of one of the letters.

Three beaded key-chains! My apologies for the crappy camera-ship for these pictures, craftywillow. I knew that they wouldn't photograph well. Either way, they are very cute, and I love 'em!

All together, flash on.

The three of them individually, no flash.
"Fred and George"

"I <3 Weasleys"

"Magic"

Once again, I absolutely adored your package, craftywillow! Thanks so much for the awesome swappiness, and fantastic job to everyone in this swap! Cheesy

A quote book that's chock full of snape-y goodness.  It looks like it's made out of parchment paper!:

Thanks Illusen! Cheesy

The quote book was actually the first idea I had for this swap, because I wanted to make something that dealt with scrolls. So, after a bit of research, I found out how to make your very own parchment paper (involving plain white paper and tea bags). I had a blast making this part, as well as all of the other stuff, really. Wink
