if he's like my DH, he'll want to keep them, let him put them in a box, in a closet, and throw it away in ten years, after he no longer cares, because your new system rocks that much

Haha! I've already done that with about half of everything else that he owns! Thank you for your suggestion. I'm really liking the idea of modifing a bookshelf. The DH is a pretty good carpenter so I'll put him to work on it too. If I craft anything up If I finish the project I'll be sure to post!  Cheesy

This looks so great! I'm definitely inspired now. /crafty

And what beautiful wood floors you guys have! It really helps make the white colors just pop and makes it all so crisp and refreshing. Great job!
5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Storage Solutions for PC Games/CDs on: April 05, 2009 03:24:19 AM
Hey all! I'm not too sure where this should help, but I figured this was the most accurate category.  Tongue

I've searched high and low for some kind of storage solution for my DH's plethora of pc games. Nothing seems to really fit and I was wondering if my lovely and crafty community could come up with some ideas. I've looked at everything from CD storage to DVD storage and nothing really works.

The problem is it isn't all standardized. He has about 25+ games in their original boxes (which are about a typical book size), plus probably 50+ games in just CD jewel cases and then a MOUNTAIN of game manuals. I can't seem to find anything that would fit all of these items.

Does anyone know how I can organize all the games together, and find a way to keep game manuals with the corresponding CD case? Any help is appreciated!!  Cheesy

I love this!! I'm a visual person and this would really keep me motivated to uphold my new resolutions. I especially like the art for each one. It reminds me a lot of PostSecret, with the background and simple words on the front.

I really want to make something like this!
