I dunno.  Our high pressure hose at uni is inside, connected up to a trough.  Perhaps you should call the water people if yr concerned?

Upon further inspection of the thing I got from my dad's shed, it looks more like a pressure-driven portable sprayer thing than something with the power to strip a screen.  Damn.

The only thing I can see about high-pressure hoses on the water restrictions website is that you can't use them to wash your car.  Last year at uni, we were still using the high pressure hose to strip our screens.

I have this little thing I got from my dad, but I haven't used it yet -- it's a high-pressure squirter that hooks up to a little 3-litre tank thing instead of the tap.

Your tiny book is adorable, and the story is very cute too.

Oh, and here's my latest book -- I call it the Bright Ideas journal.   The cover is orange book cloth, and the image on the front is a fragment of an old linocut print.

Sorry -- work has eaten my life the past couple of weeks, and I haven't checked in here until now.

Where in Australia do you live?  I'm from Melbourne.  I buy all my supplies from specialty art shops.  Some came from Melbourne Etching Supplies on St David Street in Fitzroy, just off Brunswick St.  A lot of the papers (the black paper, the red tissue paper and the paper used in the pages) came from Neil Wallace Printmaking Supplies on Greeves St in Fitzroy.  Most things came from Melbourne Artist's Supplies on Little Latrobe St in the CBD, right near RMIT -- they have the largest range of bookmaking supplies I've come across in any of the stores so far -- bone folders, awls, archival glue, thread, Chicago screws, board, etc..  I also bought the Japanese chiyogami papers from there -- they sell them in A4 size for about $3, or a very large sheet for just under $30 $22.

I've used this website to order business cards (of my own design), and have been really happy with the results.  I need to do some more soon!
