1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / boys leave. polka dot fabric is bought. dresses are made. on: January 05, 2008 12:07:13 PM
when someone you thought was going to be there with you forever leaves, you are suddenly left with gaping holes of free time that can only be filled by adopting new hobbies.

dressmaking? sure, why not! one trip to walmart, many hours, and one sewing machine falling off a table later, i came up with this:

thanks, newlook 6676, for distracting me for hours on end while i figured out how to make a zig-zag stitch.

the dress is excellent for wiping fingerprints away at crime scenes, acting as a makeshift curtain, and wearing whilst dancing on picnic tables.

extra-intense colours, extra seizure-inducing, extra fun!

i found dressmaking more challenging than dominoes, yet less taxing than pining miserably.
