My brother-in-law had a new baby boy..I thought I would make something cute for JT..I crocheted the baby a blanket and I thought that wasn't enough for the little guy..So I knited up this baby sack. The pattern is my own from the pic you can't really tell what color it is, but its baby blue in the middle..And the J is for JT..I didn't do a good job on it cause i dont know how to switch color in the round..(the j is messed up so if someone could tell me how to do it, that way when I do something like that again i know how to do it..THanks) Well I thought it came out cute..I'll take the pic of the baby in it when we go up there for Christmas...Thanks for looking..Please tell me what you think?

7  Coffee Cozy With pattern in Knitting: Completed Projects by babyknit on: September 26, 2007 02:46:20 PM
Well I was sitting around thinking about gifts that I could give for Christmas..Well my family drinks a lot of coffee and I thought it would be a great idea to make some cozy's... Here are some pics of my work they didn't come out to good but there the best of the bunch...

it was really easy to make..I made it in like 10-15 mins...
Pattern:
size 6 needles   ww yarn
gauge: 8sts per inch before washing

co 30
row 1-4: knit
row5:     k3,p24,k3
row6:     k3,k24,k3
row7:     k3,p24,k3
(you get the idea) do that for your desire length you want it to be...then knit 3 round and bind off 4th round...

close up bottom and but a button on one side, you could use a cute ribon or anything like that...if you dont want that you could just sew up the whole thing and leave it alone..there are many things you can do with it... If you make it please post pics on here I want to see how they came out..

Thanks for looking...

10  Re: Baby dress!!!with socks to match in Knitting: Completed Projects by babyknit on: September 16, 2007 09:20:59 AM
I used size 6 needle..I'm a newbie not to sure...
When you make it your gonna have kinda a hole..You'll see it when you come to that part..When I did it..I wanted them to have the same number of sts so on the 3rd needle you'll have 13 on it and then you will pick up 2 sts..I just kinda did it any where..then I went on with conceting them..on the increase round I did it all in one round, cause i wanted it to flow.. i did half on one side and i keeped on knitting the back then on the other side i added more sts.. I hope got all your questions..let me know if you have anymore.. LIke i said i'm a newbie on knitting so i'm still kinda new on how to word things ect.. but if you need anything else send me a message..thanks...
