21  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Eyeball! on: June 03, 2008 04:04:14 PM
My eyeball-

For scale-

Whatcha think?  I felt the need to make a giant eyeball one day, but then couldn't really think of anything to do with it... so I just hung it on the wall.  I might give it to my mom as a late mothers day present when I see her next week- just cuz she got so peeved last year when I bought her a transparent purple bowling ball that had a skull inside (she neither bowls nor is particularly fond of skulls).  Teehee.
22  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Skully night/end tables on: May 27, 2008 07:54:45 PM
I made these with end tables in mind, but decided to put them in my bedroom for the time being...

In place-

They only have 3 legs because none of the home depots, lowes, etc in town had 8 of the same style legs.  They're stable enough though, and I don't think they'll get bumped too much.

Whatcha think?
23  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Going batty.. coffee table on: April 10, 2008 08:39:17 PM
Finished this today.. it's just got a few more hours of drying...

Don't mind the mess- I just moved, and making a bat shaped table was way more important than unpacking.  Heh!

Let me know what ya think... it's the first piece I've completed, but I have a whole living room set in the works along the same lines.  It's going to be perfectly ridiculous!
24  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Horsey shirt on: November 29, 2007 12:08:46 AM
Not really my style, but I made it as a christmas present, so that doesn't really matter...
Whatcha think?

This is on the back of a dickies work shirt

25  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Big cats western shirt on: October 13, 2007 09:43:19 PM
I started this shirt because I fell in love with the song it came from- a rather obscure rockabilly song called "You're gone baby" by Jimmy Lloyd.

I didn't have the "Duh, rather part of a Cramps song too" moment until I was halfway through it... that doesn't bother me, I love the Cramps too, that just wasn't the original intent.

So, whatcha think?  It's a whole heck of a lot of words, but I adore the line... Not the best pics ever, I should have better ones soon, but I couldn't wait!

26  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / My monster shirt on: September 29, 2007 09:53:44 PM
I've been AKA the Ellie Monster for years now, and it struck me in a moment of sheer ridiculousness that I needed to make this.  I was going to keep working on it, but a few of my friends convinced me it was 'done'... whatcha think?

I need to get a better picture of the kitties on the front...
27  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / I can't decide! Need opinions asap. on: September 28, 2007 09:16:49 PM
I'm working on a new western shirt and I just can't make up my dang mind on something.

It has lots of words on the back... the bottom part says

" 'Cu_ the big cats walk at the break of dawn"

I can't freakin decide if it should be "cus" or "cuz"

What do you think?  I'm leaning towards cus, but I dunno!

28  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Bunnycore Vans on: September 17, 2007 12:48:15 AM
I made these for a friend a year or so ago.  Used rather pricey fabric markers, and they've held up as well as you'd expect from any pair of Vans.

29  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / My classy classy lamp on: September 11, 2007 10:09:38 PM
Whatcha think?

I had the mannequin torso for nearly a year before I was inspired to do this to it.  Unfortunatly, my cat was all too enamoured with the creation, and it now lives at a friends house.
30  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / A few totes- on: September 11, 2007 10:05:56 PM
New to the site, and I thought I'd share a few totes I've made.  They're all really simple bags, lined with goofy fabric, with 'patches' I've drawn sewn on.  I was all about that look for a while..
Any thoughts, comments, etc. are appreciated!
