I received my awesome hedgehog pincushion from maezen today!!!  I absolutely adore him!  He's so unique!  Thank you so much meazen!  You are so talented. 

I made this sugar skull tote for my (Dios de los Muertos) swap partner.  She has already received so I thought I would post here.
It is made out of a gray herringbone twill denim fabric to make it a little more sturdy.  I lined it with a cute cotton plaid print fabric.  I forgot to take a pic of the inside but the colors in the plaid coordinate with the skull colors.  I cut the skulls out of felt, fused the layers together with regular weight pellon wonder under and stitched each layer together w/ decorative silver metallic thread.  I attatched the skulls to the bag w/ the regular weight pellon and stitched around each skull for added stability.



My sis was kind enough to model the bag for an action shot.
