Not sure if this counts as a finish as it is not quilted yet, but wanted to post this.  It is the nursery rhyme quilt.  My dd colored the blocks years ago and I finally got around to finishing the top.  I am hoping to get it quilted soon.

Your quilts are awesome! and I love the orange wall. Smiley

Thanks for all the positive comments.

The pattern is called Caddy Pad by Sisters' Common Thread.  It costs about $16 - $17 and comes with a piece of the heat resistant material.

Just to clarify, this was made from a purchased pattern.  I am not very good at making up my own patterns.  It was a quick, easy project which is what I like. Smiley
Thanks!

I wasn't sure where this should go since it is not technically a purse or bag, but this seemed liked the best place.  It is a caddy for an iron.  It has heat resistant material on the inside and can be used as a portable ironing surface as well as a carrier.
It was quick to make and handy to take to sewing retreats/classes.

The coiled bag is great!

I think all the bags so far have been awesome!  It is fun to see the different styles created.  I like that we will all end up with very unique bags/purses.

Looking forward to more pics. Smiley

Went to put finishing touches (a.k.a. the handle) on my partner's bag only to discover I had done it all wrong! Nooooooooo. Hopefully it will be a clean, if not quick, fix.  Undecided

That stinks!  Hopefully it will be an easy fix.
I did something similar with a small cell phone bag I made.  It used a printed interfacing and had a bunch of folds that created the pockets.  I wasn't paying attention and sewed the strap on so that when I turned it right side out the strap was inside the lining of the bag.
Not very often do I get through a project without some kind of silly mistake.

Looking forward to seeing the finished bag. Smiley

ETA: Your post came through while I was typing mine. Smiley
I am glad it was an easy fix.  Yay!
