Very cute.  I like the pincushion and the fabric beads and roses.  Fun!

Another fantastic package!!  Wow I am feeling a bit anxious now for what I have sent out.....   Embarrassed

Great job everyone so far!!

No need to feel anxious, your package is awesome! Smiley
Love the wool and very creative with your scraps.  Those magnets are very cute!

Suwalo, I am so glad you like everything.

The fabric is an Alexander Henry print called Willow Orchard that I purchased at a quilt shop here in MN last summer.  I thought it was such a nice, bright print.  I bought a half yard, so I still have a fat quarter for myself. Smiley My daughter wants me to make potholders for us now because she thought they were really cute.

Oh, here is website that has the fabric (I had to google because I couldn't remember the name of the fabric line).  I have never purchased from here so I am not necessarily recommending them, but they have the fabric on sale.

The little stuffie was a pattern I found on-line.  I wasn't necessarily going for a matryoshka, but I agree it has the look of one. Smiley  Here is the blog I got the pattern from (click on freebies and it is called Wee Pattern). http://weewonderfuls.typepad.com/
I did shrink the pattern down by 50% because I didn't have enough fabric after making the potholders and coasters.

I had a lot of fun with this and I am sure I will love what you are crafting. Smiley

I am very much considering joining this swap.  It sounds fun and low key.

Should I, shouldn't I, should I, shouldn't I.... Grin

I think the should I is winning.

Two super cute packages!

Love the monkeys!  The grey fabric that was used is from one of my favorite collections (I bought every fabric in the line and have a quilt planned for it).

The city fabric is great!  Cute basket.

All very creative. Smiley

It sounds like you all have been very creative with your scraps.  I can't wait to see what you have done!
I feel like I was a little boring with mine. Smiley
I did get 10 items made and have a couple small pieces left that I couldn't think of anything to do with.
This was a challenge.  I wouldn't have thought it would be, but it was really great to look at fat quarters in a new way. Smiley

I will be sending Monday, as well.  I received my fabric in the mail and I think my partner will like it.  Smiley
Now I just have to box it all up.

FQ shopping trip fail! I decided to attempt a trip down to the cute little quilt shop that has been in the next town over forever today. Well I get there and its gone! I then treck in the opposite direction to the next town over (other side) to see if the one my neighbor told me about it still there. Also gone (or just couldn't find it!)

Aww, sorry to hear that.
I know that a number of shops have closed around the state.  My mom and I tried to stop at some shops on our way to the Twin Cities.  We tried stopping at 4 places and all but one had closed.  My mom didn't call to see if they were still open, so we didn't know until we tried finding them.  I know of a couple more shops that will be closing in the next couple months.  Kind of sad.

Anyway, hope you can find what you need.

Well, my items are made so now I am waiting on the fabric I ordered for the 2 extra fat quarters.  I hope it arrives soon!
I am pleased with how things turned out.  I tried a couple things that I wasn't sure would work, but they came out how I was hoping.  I need to write a note as well.  I should get on that so when the fabric arrives I can get this in the mail.
I had fun with this!  Hope my partner likes it as well as I do. Smiley

It was listed in lots of 3-4 bolts.  I was able to bid on the lots I was interested in and, luckily, I liked all the fabrics in the lots I bid on so I won't end up with stuff that I won't use.  I ended up with 19 different bolts of fabric ranging from 2.5 up to 12 yards per bolt.  I was looking at them with backings in mind, but I think they will get used in lots of projects.

My husband gets emails from the auction house that put on this auction.  He thought about not even showing it to me.  I am glad he did. Smiley
