The gypsy/Mexican embroidery quilt is so fun to look at; so colorful!

The space quilt is awesome!  I love the textures.  Is it all from the fabric or is there stitching or beads or something on the sides of the rocks/mountains?  The whole thing is just so cool!

I am glad a couple of you mentioned how you organize the different blocks.  I wasn't sure how to keep everything straight.
I did get a couple blocks printed then my printer started acting up; hopefully it will cooperate today.

Now I have to go through my fabric and see if I am in need of anything.

It's hard to see all the techniques that Deece used. I think I see some outline embroidery, some thread painting, some applique, maybe some painting or fabric printing on the centers? Would really like to know more about this piece.

I used raw-edge fusible applique on 3 of the flowers, thread painting on the bottom left one, the top left is outlined in thread and then filled in with paint and the top right is just an outline with thread.  At first I was going to applique all of them, but then I decided I wanted more texture and variation so I added the other techniques. 

It wasn't exactly what I had planned, but I like the variety.  My favorite is the thread painted flower.

ETA: The centers of the 3 applique flowers are batiks so the dots were part of the fabric and all the stitching was done free-motion on my machine (I didn't have the patience to do any hand embroidery/stitching ).

That's funny.  After I post, I usually get most anxious that I accidentally got the  address wrong.
