1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: faith's bff birthday dress EDIT: ACTION SHOTS on: September 21, 2008 08:24:24 PM
The dress is so cute! It looks wonderful on Faith's best friend, like you captured her personality perfectly when making it! I bet her mom loves it.

This may seem random, but your profile pic reminded me SO much of my niece Emma. When I showed the picture to my boyfriend and asked him who it reminds him of, he said "OMG, Emma!" right away.

Here's her pic, she's the one on the left. Do you see it too, or am I nuts? LOL (I hope the pic shows up!)

3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Spotty / Woodland autumn jacket (lotsa pics) on: September 12, 2008 12:06:43 PM
Love the fabric, the cut, the handiwork, everything! Even the little girl...oh so cute!

I am just swooning over all of the adorable grown up, bit still child-like jackets that have been appearing on craftster lately.

4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: ladybug birthday jumper on: September 12, 2008 12:00:31 PM
LOVE it as is! I personally wouldn't add a ruffle, but that's just my take on it.

Where did u find someone to make your labels? I am looking to get some made, as well.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Toddler coat inspired by minkeyfeet on: September 11, 2008 02:18:24 PM

6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Dresses and coats on: September 11, 2008 02:17:42 PM
Hol' up....
Honey if you tell me you sewed that whole coat by hand, I might curl up and die!!! LOL
If u did, I am totally bowing down and doing the wayne's world "i'm not worthy" hand motion.
If not, what parts were hand sewn???
7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Dresses and coats on: September 11, 2008 10:45:50 AM
I am absolutely in love with that coat!!!! I really think u should save it as an heirloom, ever after DD outgrows it.
Of course, i'm partial to sentimentally saving things- but I do think its really cool to make ur child a garment from a pattern ur grandma used for your clothes as a child.  Grin
I can seriously picture that coat in Saks fifth avenue on sale for $200 or something. Was it very difficult to sew?
8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Fuzzy Monkey skirt and applique on: September 11, 2008 10:39:24 AM
I have those EXACT fleece monkeys, but on a green background, on a pair of store bought pj pants from Aeropostale.

Its so cute on a children's skirt and shirt combo! (thinking of ways to recon my jammies...lol)
9  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: shrug and stripey leggings on: September 11, 2008 10:36:29 AM
Ohh how cute!
I love the shrug, what size does it go up to? (Is it just a toddler pattern?)
