1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / But I don't do dainty!!! on: May 24, 2016 08:33:38 AM
Here's my latest piece, a bracelet made from an Amethyst, copper coloured wire and rose gold wire

The band is intricately woven:

I love the look of it on the wrist:

Thanks for looking, I hope you like it! Smiley
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Flower necklace on: May 22, 2016 05:09:14 AM
Something slightly different for me today, this necklace made from bare copper wire, labradorite and agate flowers and emeralds for the vine leafs! Hope you like it! Another hospital make kept me going yesterday
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Wire zentangle bracelet on: May 14, 2016 01:13:07 AM
I created this bracelet by using lots of different weaves on different small sections of wire and then swirling them in and out of each other. I added some tiny peacock pearls a charoite and an amethyst. I used copper wire as my weaving wire and silver plated wire as my base to add a bit of contrast/sparkle. Hope you like

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Black agate bracelet on: May 07, 2016 06:30:56 AM
Here is my latest item, a wire wrapped black agate slice. I used copper and silver coloured wire. There are bits of it that I'm not totally happy with but considering it was made whilst I'm in hospital ill and with shakey hands thanks to nebulisers I'm happy with it, hope you like!

5  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 112 ENTRIES / Clear Quartz ring on: March 03, 2016 05:19:30 PM
For this challenge I just had to make a piece of jewellery, as that is my passion! I made this ring for myself using a high quality clear Quartz and rose gold coloured wire. I wrapped the shank

Attached the stone and wrapped around it:

And finished it off with wire wrapped shoulders:

It was a challenge for me as I normally wear great big rings, so to make a small and dainty one that would suite my massive fingers wasn't easy, but I am very pleased with the final item:

I hope you like it Smiley
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Bead Soup? on: February 28, 2016 11:43:01 PM
Would anybody be interested in another round of bead soup? I've spoken to mistress_jennie who has no plans to run another, but is happy for me to start one. Requirements would be 50 beads and 1 beaded medium, but you would be more than welcome to go over and above so long as you discuss with your partner.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Labradorite, wire wrapped pendent and Viking knit chain on: February 24, 2016 06:12:55 PM
I'm going on a jewellery making course on Friday run by the lady who got me in to wire weaving, and who continues to be a massive source for my inspiration! I'm half excited and half nervous!!!! I have been making a necklace to wear and am really chuffed with it, although there's lots id change, mainly the neatness of the silver wrapping. I made the pendant and the chain its on. Hope you like!!!

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / A couple more rings, different to my normal style on: January 25, 2016 04:07:50 AM
So, I've been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone lately and create things that are not my normal style. I've made myself two rings that are very different to what I make/wear, but I love them. Hope you like....

Amethyst and silver wire. This is a lot more delicate than anything I normally make or wear:

Then, I bought an absolutely stunning strand of Labradorite when I saw it I knew I had to fit as much as possible of it on a ring for myself so I could sit and stare at it all day long. This is very big and chunky, definitely a statement ring, but I adore it!

Really hope you like them Smiley
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Labradorite ring with purple and silver wire on: January 12, 2016 02:58:21 PM
On Saturday i am going on a wire work course. I am so excited! I made this ring to wear on the day. Pendant and bracelet will follow.

It is a Cadburys purple wire with one strand of silver. It is lighter than this pic...

But brighter than this one...

This shows it on my hand, it is definitely a big chunky one

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Bronzite and copper wire ring on: December 30, 2015 11:06:50 AM
I have just made this ring for my mum using a bronzite stone and copper coloured copper wire. It's a size M-N. Hope you like Smiley
