1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Rudolph the wirework reindeer on: November 18, 2016 07:51:17 PM
Ive spent the last few days making this reindeer from copper and aluminium wire and gemstoness - he's been a real labour of love!

Inspired by an amazing wirework artist here in the U.K. - Laura Binding.
He has Amber in his back, marcasite and tigers eye face and black spinel (I think) eyes. Taken about 50 hours all in, I hope you like him

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Abalone sea horse on: June 21, 2016 02:59:51 PM
Here's a seahorse I made with wire and a flat abalone shell for his tummy, hope you like Smiley
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Daintyish Amethyst ring... on: June 16, 2016 01:27:40 AM
I'm challenging myself atm to make daintier jewellery that has more mass appeal. I'm really pleased with this Amerhyst ring I came up with, and have worn it pretty much constantly since, with a different ring, also copper and amethyst but more simple, on my next finger.

Whilst I'm showing rings, here's a tray full of others I've made.
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Have you got the time please?! on: June 15, 2016 11:44:22 AM
I can't remember the last time I owned a watch, I tend to just use my phone, but thought I probably should at least own one now I'm a grown up adult! (Officially 33, maybe not mentally!) of course being a jewellery maker I kind of needed one id made myself! This is what I came up with, hope you like xxx

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / But I don't do dainty!!! on: May 24, 2016 08:33:38 AM
Here's my latest piece, a bracelet made from an Amethyst, copper coloured wire and rose gold wire

The band is intricately woven:

I love the look of it on the wrist:

Thanks for looking, I hope you like it! Smiley
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Flower necklace on: May 22, 2016 05:09:14 AM
Something slightly different for me today, this necklace made from bare copper wire, labradorite and agate flowers and emeralds for the vine leafs! Hope you like it! Another hospital make kept me going yesterday
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Wire zentangle bracelet on: May 14, 2016 01:13:07 AM
I created this bracelet by using lots of different weaves on different small sections of wire and then swirling them in and out of each other. I added some tiny peacock pearls a charoite and an amethyst. I used copper wire as my weaving wire and silver plated wire as my base to add a bit of contrast/sparkle. Hope you like

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Black agate bracelet on: May 07, 2016 06:30:56 AM
Here is my latest item, a wire wrapped black agate slice. I used copper and silver coloured wire. There are bits of it that I'm not totally happy with but considering it was made whilst I'm in hospital ill and with shakey hands thanks to nebulisers I'm happy with it, hope you like!

9  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 112 ENTRIES / Clear Quartz ring on: March 03, 2016 05:19:30 PM
For this challenge I just had to make a piece of jewellery, as that is my passion! I made this ring for myself using a high quality clear Quartz and rose gold coloured wire. I wrapped the shank

Attached the stone and wrapped around it:

And finished it off with wire wrapped shoulders:

It was a challenge for me as I normally wear great big rings, so to make a small and dainty one that would suite my massive fingers wasn't easy, but I am very pleased with the final item:

I hope you like it Smiley
10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Bead Soup? on: February 28, 2016 11:43:01 PM
Would anybody be interested in another round of bead soup? I've spoken to mistress_jennie who has no plans to run another, but is happy for me to start one. Requirements would be 50 beads and 1 beaded medium, but you would be more than welcome to go over and above so long as you discuss with your partner.
