41  Eclipse wrapped cabochon necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Ratfinkz on: March 21, 2015 03:47:21 AM
We had an eclipse here in the UK yesterday. Where I live was too overcast to see it...but it inspired this bracelet. It is a juxtaposition of light vs dark, and the marcasite beads represent baileys beads. The base cabochon is hematite and I have used two different colour silver wires.  Hope you like!

Only managed to get one pic of Finn over the weekend as we went out for a meal on Friday (but as it was our valentines treat my husband thought it was unromantic to be taking photos of Finn so I could only snap a quick one before our food arrived while he was in the loo!) and after that I spent the weekend poorly Sad

48  kumihimo and agate ring. in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Ratfinkz on: February 10, 2015 05:06:52 PM
I made myself this pretty ring Smiley my hands/fingers are massive (my husband and I have the same wedding ring...but mine is a good few sizes bigger...Despite the fact he towers over me and is a lot more well built and overweight than I am! ) so I wanted something pretty but not too delicate. I used macram to create the ring out of S-lon thread and added a 12 mm purple banded Agate.
