
So, I've seen this bag here and there over the last couple of months. But, it wasn't until a gal I work with pointed out this
contest (from the most recent issue of Quilts and More) that I finally decided to give it a go.
It's my first go at it, so it's a little rough around the edges. Next time I'll probably use a more hefty interfacing. I also machine stitched the handle into the bottom seam, instead of the hand stitching that the instructions recommend. I don't hand stitch unless absolutely necessary!

I had a little trouble top-stitching the handle to the body of the bag, just the mechanics of fabric vs. machine. It's not as flat as I'd like at the bottom seam.
Overall, a super-cute little bag and super-easy to put together. Only took about 2 hours.
