1  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Nicolas Ghesquire's Balenciaga Coat on: August 23, 2005 09:34:19 PM
Seeing as I'm in love with Balenciaga bags (and considering it will be another five years before I even consider getting one thats not a good thing) I decided to check out their new fall/winter collection and fell in love with this coat:

I looks relatively simple but I'm having a hard time finding a pattern close enough that I wouldn't have to do mega alterations so any suggestions would be great  Smiley
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / my attempt at photography -image heavy- on: August 23, 2005 09:11:51 PM
Just some shots I took over the summer. I've never taken any sort of photography class so I bet there are a million things I could have done better. but I like them.

Just noticed how crooked this one is, guess i was looking at the tree and not the horizon...should fix that

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Lucky Penny Bracelet on: February 12, 2005 01:36:51 PM
At first I was thinking of selling these but now Im not sure Tongue. They are pretty easy to make, I think the hardest part was figuring out how to get a hole into the penny.

And here's what it looks like on, it goes well with my tsunami relief bracelet which is nice

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Renaissance Inspired Necklace on: February 10, 2005 12:50:31 PM
I made this with one of my friends in mind, she loves anything renaissance and lotr so thats where the inspiration came from.

Sorry for the lousy picture, I didn't have anyone around to model it for me.
and just so you know the beads are actually a pretty pale pink color it's also not uneven, thats just how I had it hung up  Undecided

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Coffee Bean Jewelry *Now With Bracelet* on: January 21, 2005 04:24:51 PM
I'm sure someone else has already done this but I thought I would share anyway
The beads are 100% real coffee beans that I poked a hole through and coated with a clear varnish

Earring and Necklace Set

Just the Earrings

And lastly the necklace, I'm still not sure what way I should wear it so any input on that would be great

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / What do you do when its too cold to go outside? Make jewelry! on: January 06, 2005 01:17:11 PM
Ive been stuck inside most of the week since it's been so cold, so i decided to use my time to make some new jewelry

Knitted bracelet + earrings:
made with wire and some cheap fake pearls I had lying around

Button Necklace + earrings:

Cluster ring:
I got the idea from this post ( http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21667.0 ) but instead of using a ring like she did I just bent a headpin around my finger and used the little loop on the end to hold everything together
