2  Nicolas Ghesquire's Balenciaga Coat in Designer Clothing Homage by Black Lamb on: August 23, 2005 09:34:19 PM
Seeing as I'm in love with Balenciaga bags (and considering it will be another five years before I even consider getting one thats not a good thing) I decided to check out their new fall/winter collection and fell in love with this coat:

I looks relatively simple but I'm having a hard time finding a pattern close enough that I wouldn't have to do mega alterations so any suggestions would be great  Smiley

Thanks everyone

sweets4ever:i'm not sure how long it took, was one of those things I worked on and off of for abit.

Hawkwolf: yep 20 gauge 1/8" rings and Im working on closing all the rings better, Im guessing thats something that comes with practice

hockywierdo55: I love using toggle clasps, most of them stay on (some styles come apart easier then others) and they are really easy to get on/off after you get use to them

more pictures:

I couldn't take pictures of the finished project (i added a sort of Celtic pendant) my brother took it before I had a chance Tongue

6  Re: Star Wars Light Saber thingie... in Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage by Black Lamb on: April 05, 2005 10:11:02 AM
They are actually really easy to make, heres one a friend of mine built in less then a week with stuff he found in a garage and some (strong) glue

He just adds a blade by slipping a maglight solitare into the top and attaching a plastic blade we stole from a 8$ Zellers saber.

8  Lucky Penny Bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Black Lamb on: February 12, 2005 01:36:51 PM
At first I was thinking of selling these but now Im not sure Tongue. They are pretty easy to make, I think the hardest part was figuring out how to get a hole into the penny.

And here's what it looks like on, it goes well with my tsunami relief bracelet which is nice
