1  Re: Make Me a Purse Then Fill It Swap CLOSED- Sendouts June 13 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by SamiJoFitz on: June 16, 2010 03:08:36 PM
My swap has been received, can't seem to find the gallery, so I thought I'd post here.  Rubies Pearls sent me a really cute black and purple design purse, with butterflies lining, and butterfly buttons!  She also sent an elephant for my son Spencer, and some goodies inside the purse.  Thank you for a great swap!  (Yours was sent and can't wait until you get it!)

2  Pink Lacy Shells Hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by SamiJoFitz on: May 26, 2010 07:02:03 AM
It's a little too small for me, too big for Spencer...not that I'd have him wearing pink...lol...so I'm guessing maybe a teen or pre-teen size, made with a size 4.5 hook, Bernat Cottontots and the Lacy Shells pattern by Lindamade (http://www.lindamade.com/patterns.htm)- not sure what I'm going to do with it, just thought it was a pretty pattern.
(Styrofoam head purchased this weekend at Sally's for $3.99 plus tax.)

3  Re: Fill A Purse Swap 5 in The Swap Gallery by SamiJoFitz on: March 16, 2010 11:05:28 AM
Finally posting pictures of the amazing duct tape purse wallet and changepurse (first ones I have ever seen!) that I received from my partner iseeaplatypus09!  She also sent chapstick, starburst, some bubbles for my son, plus a little village of dinosaurs for him to play with...he loves them!  Thank you so much for being a great partner!

Made this with Lion Brand Hometown USA, J hook, and reclaimed handles from a thrift store purse!  Took about 3 hours...

I came across this yarn in a tote in the attic that I hadnt seen since we moved in 4 years ago! I immediately had to make a skinny scarf! This is my first variegated skinny scarf, and I LOVE it! I was going to give it to my cousin, but I just cant part with it! Im not even sure this color is still being made, I will have to look next time I go to Michaels.

8  1st BICO for DS in Crochet: Completed Projects by SamiJoFitz on: February 03, 2010 05:50:02 AM
My first BICO for DS! I used a 4.5 hook, with Simply Soft yarn, and the directions for the larger size, worked out to be perfect for a newborn.

9  Not Your Grannie's Bikini Top in Crochet: Completed Projects by SamiJoFitz on: February 02, 2010 09:17:35 AM
I have had this in my head for awhile...not that at 41 I have the body to wear this in public, but at least it's out of my head!
Pattern for top is in testing as well as pattern for bottoms!

Seriously, what do you think? (Besides the fact that I'm 41!)
