Absolutely beautiful - the shape, the painting, everything! How long did it take you? This has really inspired me to do some paper mache with my students - even though they're only 6 and 7.

This tutorial shows you how to make a monogrammed gift that is perfect for mums, teachers, aunts, friends - anyone you need a quality gift for. They are easy to make and the tutorial gives excellent instruction for appliqueing monograms for any sewn item. This is also an excellent tute for using up favourite fabric scraps.

86  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / U.K. AND IRELAND / Re: Where to buy felt on: August 28, 2007 04:02:59 PM
I buy beautiful hand dyed wool felt online at
http://www.myriadonline.co.uk/dummy-cfelt.html

It is very difficult to find wool felt, most of the shops just sell nasty acrylic stuff. I use only wool or felt old wool blankets to make softies by washing them on your machines hottest cycle.

I have a felt tutorial with suggested stitches and a downloadable pattern at http://ninimakes.typepad.com/nini_makes/2007/08/if-your-childre.html

That tutorial will also give you a link to a stitch dictionary where you can learn any stitch out there. Hope this helps!
