1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Zelda fans will love this! **updated with link to pattern** on: October 28, 2008 10:36:56 PM
Sorry about that.  My blog did get moved, and I tried to update it most places but it's hard to remember where I forgot to update it.

My new blog is at http://diyod.blogspot.com, and the pattern is one of the first posts on my new blog.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Dynamite Blue Cabled Scarf on: November 13, 2007 08:12:46 AM
I'm making that same scarf for my boyfriend for Christmas.  He's big into his Irish heritage, so I figured this would be a perfect gift for him.

I'm making mine out of the Forest Green Lion Brand Wool Ease, since he loves greens and browns.  I've only got about 7 repeats done right now, but I'm already excited about how it looks.  I can't wait to finish it and give it to him!

Your FO looks nice....and I love the color!  Blue is one of my favorites colors, and I was actually thinking of knitting this for myself in blue once I get my Christmas knitting done.

Absolutely adorable!  Of course that adorable baby makes it even better!
5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Vintage Craft Projects / Re: Antique Sewing Machine on: November 09, 2007 09:34:01 AM
I've still got my great grandmother's sewing machine, and it works great.  It looks similar to your's, but mine is electric.  It's a singer and still in the cabinet, and the cabinet looks beautiful!

Only reason I bought another sewing machine is because I need some variety in the stitches...but I still love my old Singer.

Without a doubt....#1!!!!

I don't think I've seen anything you've posted that I didn't like!  You've really got talent....hopefully someday when I get my craft/sewing room ready I can work on my sewing skills and become awesome like you!

spaceniblet, thanks for posting pictures of your completed project.  I'm so glad the pattern was easy to follow, because I wanted it to be an easy pattern so that any Zelda lover could make it.  Your FOs look great!

sarasvati, thanks for the mention on your blog!  I wanted this pattern to be free, and easy, so that anyone that loved gaming could make it if they knew the basics of knitting.  Thanks for helping share it with other gaming geeks!

I might eventually make a crochet equivalent to this pattern when I have more free time, but for now I'm busy with Christmas gifts and baby gifts for all my friends that are expecting.  So don't worry crocheters, there will eventually be a crochet version available for you....you just have to wait a little longer.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!  This is too awesome!

Kermit was always my favorite from the muppets, and I have a few Kermit stuffed animals somewhere.

I'm glad to hear they loved it.  I still have to wait to give mine to my boyfriend (his birthday is the 30th of this month).

I can't wait to see the pictures of your FO.

Was the pattern easy to follow?  It was my first time writing up a pattern and I wasn't sure if it would make sense to others or not.
