Are we ready to knit tonight?

The weather's kinda *bleh*, so if no one wants to go out, I understand, but I'm planning on it. Let me know if we aren't knitting, otherwise I'll see you there!

Tomorrow's another knitting night! Woot  Cheesy

First, it looks like my Ravelry invite may take forever.

Second, Jared nicely went along to the yarn store (although he likened the atmosphere to a "creepy, creepy cult") and I bought some fantastic sock yarn I'll need to brag about  Wink

Third, I can't wait to see the yarn you bought this weekend and hear Rhinebeck stories!

Fourth, I think at least one girl from my lab who would like to learn the art of knitting will come this week, so that should be fun  Smiley

Last, I finished my Monkey socks and I'm hoping to start the next pair before 7:30. Let's just say the yarn is new and the main fiber rhymes with malpaca... or balpaca... or talpaca... my message is so cryptic!

See you tomorrow!  Smiley

Hooray! It's Thursday again!

I'll be there for knitting... you should come, too... word on the street is one knitter is having a birthday today!  Cheesy

I'd be down for occasional knitting on weekends, but I'm unavailable the next two weekends. Boo  Sad  Let me know if there's a weekend, though that you want to knit. I'm down.

I'll be there, too! And yes, most likely fairly late. See you ladies then! Cheesy

Oh man, I have the best news ever (well, the best news today)!!!

My subject was flakey and they had to cancel him for Thursday night! Woo-hoo! I mean, we need to get the work done and all, but now I get to knit Thursday night!  Cheesy

On the other hand, I realized I dropped stitches a while back and need to rip out the heel a bit. At least the heel flap is short and easy.

Hope to see you knitters Thursday!  Smiley

Grrr! I am so annoyed!

I checked my email Friday only to discover that, after explicitly asking several times not to be scheduled for Thursday evenings one of my labs scheduled me for... Thursday evening!  Angry

Even after an email about this I really didn't get much of an explanation. Grrr. So, I probably won't be there Thursday.... unless anyone wants to stick around after 9:30 or 10:00, which is when I think I could get there if nothing goes wrong. Grrr. Can you tell I'd like to write her a nastier email but instead had to grit my teeth writing a nicer email knowing it may not convey to her that I really must not be scheduled for Thursday evenings? Grrr.

And I really wanted to see Beth's new eyes! Well... improved, but not actually new.  Cheesy

Oh well. Happy knitting!

If my knitty-senses (and my calendar) are correct, tomorrow is Thursday which means KNITTING!  Cheesy

I'm a lame-o who has yet to start my monkey socks, but maybe tonight I will. Hope to see you all tomorrow for coffee and yarn talk. Because other people don't really want to talk about yarn.  Wink

It's 18 minutes into Thursday! That means knitting in grocery stores time is nearly upon us!

My socks are done (woot) but I will be a bit late (15-30 min) because I'll be running subjects late and will want to unpack my stuff before arriving. Hope to see some other people with pointy sticks there... and I don't mean chopsticks!  Wink

Sadly, Saturday does not work for me. Jared is coming and we just found out his grandmother passed away today (she was in really bad shape) so we'll be in Altoona Saturday.

Next Thursday, then. My gusset is coming along!  Smiley

The gusset or sock #2 is upon me! Hope it goes as fast as the first!  Cheesy

Unfortunately, it is the last day of the Grange Fair and I think I ought to go to say goodbye to some of the family who came in for it (and to eat a funnel cake, perhaps)! I know you friend is thinking of coming, but if you're interested and have the time, I would be interested in an unorthodox knitting Friday. Let me know and happy Thursday!
