3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Cupcake and cakes, my first ever polymer clay projects! on: November 07, 2007 12:19:50 PM
Here is the first thing I ever made. I started out with this chocolate cake with chocolate sprinkles. I cut them into several pieces and now they are charms. I'll also make them into earings.

Here is the Vanilla with fudge filling and mint frosting cake charms.

Here is the chocolate cupcake with mint frosting and a cherry on top charm

And here are some rocks I made. I made three covered bottle caps and shaped a stone with the leftover material, as well as tiny round stud earing*no picture of that*.
I'll be painting some words and symbols on them.

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Wal-Mart has patterns for bedding and such on: October 02, 2007 11:07:01 PM
Did anyone else know this. I am thinking of buying the patterns. I really want to make a slipcover for my couch and I'm having a hard time finding a free pattern for one, so I think I'll head out there and buy one.
Has anyone purchased and used their patterns?
I'd really like to know how it turned out.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / The best time of Corset for plus size women? on: October 02, 2007 11:02:50 PM
Well I really want to make myself a corset to wear, but I have lots of problems making clothing that look good on me. Now is there a certain type of corset that will work/look better for larger women?
Any advice is extremely appreciated.

However I'm not really sure what to do with them.
Any clever ideas?

I think it would be kinda neat to make a bag incorporating some things like the turtle shell, or skunk pelt, or the quills, but I'm really not sure how to go about doing that.

Any thoughts or ideas
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / What to do with all those scraps...along on: September 27, 2007 11:16:40 PM
So I don't know about you guys, but I have a TON of scraps just all over the place. For some reason I have yet to throw them out. I keep telling myself I will use them for something.
So why don't we have a sew along with all those scraps we have lying around?  Hmm?
What do you all say?
I think...I'll make so patchwork hoodies or something.
