2  Updated new length---minnie mouse costume in Halloween Costumes by mommyg2a on: September 18, 2008 07:34:51 AM
I finished my daughters minnie mouse costume and I am somewhat pleased with it but I don't know about the length. Do you think I should shorten it a little? Just imagine it with a black long sleeve shirt underneath and pig tails with ears.

I shortened it a little bit just ignore her clothes underneath I didn't feel like stripping her. How does it look? Better?

I found this fabric on sale at walmart and thought it was too cute to pass up so I made my daughter a new dress. I made it a little bigger so she would be able to wear it throught the winter.

5  Doll Wedding dress in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by mommyg2a on: September 11, 2008 12:09:30 PM
My neighbors have recently helped us through a life altering crisis and to try and repay some of the kindness they have shown us I made this dress. My neighbors wife has this doll that she has had since she was a kid. It stands a little over a foot tall and is made from solid rubber. It used to have a wedding dress on it but it got ruined over the years so I decided to try and replace it. I went to the store and found some pretty fabric and got to work.
Here is the front

Here is details of the back

Here is the veil

Here it is put together on the doll

Here is my newest dress one of three that I have to make. It's winnie the pooh with a little green ribbon in the middle. Wasn't sure where I wanted to put it so I settled on in the middle. Ignore the blue hat, she is half tomboy! lol

9  country time scrap wreath in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by mommyg2a on: June 24, 2008 12:35:59 PM
So I am guessing this goes here as this is my first post on this board. I got bored and had left over spring/summer looking fabric so I cut them into small strips and shaped a wire hanger into a circle and tied the fabric around the hanger until it was full and then added the bow to the top. Hope you like it!
