1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: ipod hoodie on: November 13, 2005 08:10:29 AM
Aww, those are so adorable. I, unfortunately, have the new ipod. So far, theres no cover made for them, so I made a cover, but it's a very thin fabric that will not help it at all.

Does anybody know what fabric is used in those hoodies?
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: Back.. after YEARS. Gift idea for mom. on: October 21, 2005 12:58:11 PM
I like that idea; A tote bag with home-made envelopes and tropical stamps would be nice. Smiley

It's awesome to see that the book is actually a reality now.

I found it on amazon and was like WOAHMG CRAFTSTER.

So, I have it reserved. Smiley

Wow, anyways.

My mom and I are very close, and basically she has to leave for certain reasons.

She's going to Florida.

She loves animals; shes going to continue volunteering at an animal sanctuary. Chimps, tropical birds, the works. When she goes down there, shes going to be starting school up again. So, any good ideas on mixing the two.. even better, any good tutorials? Smiley

Go to Michaels, and there are these little mirror shards. Hot glue those all over.. and voila! Of course it does depends on how thick each part is...
10  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: craftster.org crafting book? on: September 20, 2004 03:31:00 PM
Oh my, thank you! I just whipped it up though.. I was going to make a professional looking one, but I didnt think it'd be worth the time. Tongue

Hey deathsbloom!  That's so cool!  How inspirational!

Just an update on book stuff if anyone is interested...

Bad News: My book that I was working on (craft-related but not craftster-related) fell through due to problems with the publisher.

Good News: I found really awesome literary agent who's going to help me find another publisher and also help me pitch other books that are more tied to Craftster.  Yay!  I'm so happy to hear all of the support for Craftster-related books.  When these ideas start to gel more, I'll definitely put out calls for help.

That's horrible!

Im glad you found some help, though... craftster SO needs it's own book. How far done is it so far?
