1  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Shaggy dog wall hanging on: February 25, 2008 07:05:21 PM
Here is a shaggy dog wallhanging I finished recently. I saw the dog pattern in a quilting magazine, but then I drew the hydrant blocks myself. Those blocks are about 3 inches square, so I thought I was insane when I was trying to piece them! I hand sewed and hand quilted it, including bone shapes in the borders. The eyes are little black buttons and the mouth is embroidered on. This was challenging at times, but I am so happy with the way it turned out.

2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Red/purple/lime green wall hanging on: October 07, 2007 10:00:22 AM
This project was a long-term one, only because I kept putting off finishing it. It's machine pieced and hand quilted in a bunch of different patterns. I am glad I finally sucked it up and finished it. I like it a lot.
