I'm about to start my own full-time business doing what I truly love for a living but there are a few things I haven't decided on yet.

My business consists of two parts: working as a writer and language consultant (proofreader, translator) and selling things I make / design such as art, prints, notebooks and jewellery.

My blog is at www.afiori.blogspot .com and I also own the domain afiori.com which currently links directly to my blog. I'm planning to open an Etsy store shortly but I would also like to have a portfolio of some kind and a page about the services I offer. Also, I need to write in at least two languages - English and Swedish.

Do you have any advice on how to structure a website? Is it too weird to combine everything - although it's me and what I do - into one site? Do I even need a website or can I squeeze more things into my blog?
A website would have to be something like this: main page, blog, shop, about me, writings, portfolio and something about my work as an editor, language consultant etc. Any input would be great.

After having seen lots of boyfriend books on jr_nal I decided to make one for myself. Only mine is a "me" book. (Not that I'm in love with myself.)

I've started a blog at blogspot.com, using one of their templates.

Trouble is, I want the left sidebar to be wider so that the text is more towards the center of the screen and not pushed to the left. 

I looked at the html and managed to make the posts wider, but the space to the left remains the same. This is probably very easy to fix if you know html; I'm trying here but I can't seem to adjust that specific thing. PLEASE reply or send me a PM if you can help!! I really want my blog to look nice from the beginning. Thanks in advance 

Two weeks ago I was suddenly whisked off to France and got to stay in an amazing apartment by the ocean. I took lots of photos of shells and scenery, and today I made a beach-inspired photo album.

Materials used: structured paper, thread, a bit of glue in the spine, thick scrapbooking paper. I attached the photos with double-sided tape. The shell on the cover had a natural hole in it, so I just strung it on waxed cotton thread. The fleur-de-lis is a brad.

I improvised the stitching on the cover. The pages were bound using the coptic stitch.

Is there a name for this game? You get a list of things to find, and each thing gives you a certain amount of points. For instance: carrot 10 points, Barbie doll 30 points. It's not exactly a treasure hunt. Help?

Is it safe to use acrylics on watercolour paper? If I were to sell a painting, in particular, I'd want to know nothing bad would happen in the long run... I don't like painting on canvas.

How can I paint only in the centre of a large sheet of watercolour paper? I want the image to be square and have lots of white surrounding it, and I'm afraid the paper will buckle.
