How many partners will we have? (it sounds like 1, but last years gallery looks like it was more than that)
23  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Re: Pet Peeve- lack of communication! on: January 16, 2013 12:38:45 PM
I have some spots of bad communication on my feedback because I got really really really sick and had a hard time even getting out of bed, ...   But the feedback just ends up saying poor communication, without really explanations as to why that was.

Have you asked if a swap mod, or the organizers, can add 'due to illness' to the comments?  It just seems to me that it's a helpful thing to know instead of just "poor communication"

I also feel very left out in swap chats.  I feel like some people 'know' each other, and I don't, and I don't really have anything to share other than "yep I cut out some fabric for one of the swap items today", which seems weird to throw out there when everyone else is talking about things happening in their lives or something.    I've always been anti-social so its hard to jump into conversations once a week, even online!

Me too Smiley

Thanks, blupaisan & Jillybeans.

Sunny, if you mean my pic, it's just printed paper and colored pencil. I didn't realize how much it looked like eyes behind a face mask until I saw the picture Smiley

I'm posting this for BlackAbbey -

It's not that dark in real life, but it's the best I could get to real colors.

Mail will hold, but if it's sent via private service (like FedEx), those do not get held.
27  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: cloth pads=happy period on: November 26, 2012 08:05:24 AM
you don't need a sewing machine to make these. I made a whole bunch by handsewing. After they were cut, a thin one took maybe an hour, the thicker ones took a little longer. It's good TV-watching handwork  Smiley
28  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: *Report Questionable Ads Here* on: November 24, 2012 02:12:14 PM
there's a Nissan video ad that expands and starts talking when the cursor rolls over it. I saw it in the little space that's inbetween the 1st & 2nd posts when you're reading a thread.

Thanks LaChapa for posting a clearer pic! I don't know why it came out blurry Sad

I got this great blue zentangle from BlackAbbey a couple of days ago. (It's a little darker in real life, but the design doesn't show as well in a closer to real-life color)

Thanks!  Kiss

30  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: Shells on: November 20, 2012 09:15:45 AM
I know someone who took a printer's tray and filled each space with 1 shell. She moved or took out some of the dividers so the bigger shells would fit. They're glued in place somehow so they don't fall out - the tray's hanging on the wall.
