Im quite happy with the way it turned out  Smiley

Butterfly camoflage fabric on the outside and barb-wire fabric on the inside, some pockets for stuff.

Smaller pockets

224  Re: Was going to be a bag (spent an hour as a hat) now a storage bucket in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ScrappySue on: November 09, 2007 11:14:08 PM
thanks for the great tips!
Its also good to know I'm not the only one with oddball ideas out there! Grin
I'm thinking it may be good in the bathroom to store my random stuff.

And now the action shot.....tho it looks much better on my partners head, its a bit small for me. He oddly did not want his picture taken wearing it.

Bag as hat

on my boofy head

take care

225  Was going to be a bag (spent an hour as a hat) now a storage bucket in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ScrappySue on: November 09, 2007 07:52:14 AM
As the subject line says I started out making a bucket shaped bag and couldn't work out how I wanted the handles.
But then I kinda liked it without the handles.
And after walking around with it on my head for a while, cos it kinda looked like a hat.....ok, yes I am a little nuts........
I thought it might look cool to use as a storage bucket.
If you have stuck with me past all this waffle.....

Heres the bag waiting for handle inspiration....

Heres the bag with the edge folded over

and heres how it looked as a hat

thanks for looking,
S
