Details of swap:  Miss the good 'ol days of gaming?  I know there have been video game swaps in the past, but what's better than the old-school gaming systems?  Well, it's time to bring back the geezers of the video game world.  Anything pre-Playstation/N64/X-Box is game (nintendo, SNES, famicom, sega, atari, etc).  The pixellated characters make it pretty easy to use in almost any craft especially the needle-related variety.  Pacman, Mrs. Pacman, Q-bert, Mario Bros, Kirby, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pong, Zelda, Tetris, Skate or Die, Double Dragon, Kung-fu, you name it!

You'll have over a month to craft: 1 large, 2 medium, and 1 small item.  This is a general minimum.  You can talk w/ your partner to determine if you'd like to craft more/less.  Make sure you get delivery confirmation!  Let me and your partner know when you have sent and received.

Here are some ideas:
(I tried to find a good variety, but the majority were Nintendo.  Lemme know if you find any more I should add.  Also, there is a ton of stuff on Etsy if you need more inspiration.)

picture time!  here are the lovely frame and pictures i recieved from teriyakimoto.

Glad you liked the frame!  At least a few pics turned out ok.  As for the other ones, I guess my crappy little disposable camera didn't like the lighting.  Sad  I took digital ones w/ me to the fair too.

Here are a few:

I'll post my pics from puppy_girl once I get them back from processing!

34  Stripey Glasses Case in Knitting: Completed Projects by teriyakimoto on: August 11, 2007 11:13:47 AM
Here's a little glasses/sunglasses case I made as a swap angel:

I knit it w/ DPNs, then added plastic canvas (used in cross stitching) for shape and sturdiness.  Lastly, I lined it with fleece.

37  Cozy Convertible Mittens in Knitting: Completed Projects by teriyakimoto on: February 01, 2006 09:14:04 AM
I knit these as a late x-mas present for a friend.  My dad caught sight of them and now I have to make him a pair too.  I used a Reynolds pattern & Lopi yarn.  It was surprisingly simple and only took a couple of days.

Sorry to my SC for not posting sooner.  I got this awesome package last month.  She is the coolest!  She put in some extras for my b-day too!  I love everything.

Various Halloween paraphernalia (including classic horror dvds, handmade magnets, stickers, etc), a coolio handknit washcloth & beautiful yarn (nice color choice!).

40  tea bag change purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by teriyakimoto on: July 25, 2004 07:33:52 AM
I was bored at work, so I made this change purse out of a tea bag and packaging tape.  Basically all I did was take the tea bag apart and laminated it.  Then just tape the sides back together and add velcro!  Easy!
