This would be a cute thing to use for a child's pirate themed birthday party.
732  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / NECKLACE MADE OUT OF ORANGE JUICE ADS on: April 08, 2008 01:20:51 AM
This necklace was made out of orange juice ads which I cut into strips, used a glue stick on the no-orange juice side and then rolled up tightly into beads, then strung on a leftover piece of orange ribbon.

How cute!  This would also be great for a child store those Kid's meal toys and be a cool room decoration at the same time.  Might encourge them to put the toys up because they would be "feeding the monster".

This could also be adapted for Barbie dolls or GI Joes.  How clever!

738  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Magazines / Clippings / Etc...make into a necklace on: April 04, 2008 05:06:51 AM

I made this no-cost paper bead necklace using Orange Juice Ads out of magazines that were lying around and a piece of leftover orange ribbon.

I made the paper beads by cutting the strips, applyed glue with a glue stick, rolled each bead up tightly then strung on the orange ribbon and tied the ribbon in a bow.
