41  Re: For a FireFighters wife, in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Babyangel on: November 19, 2007 08:44:15 PM
Undecided well, I used a pattern piece I had with no instructions, but it was basically shaped like the JORDY mine was just one piece, although with this being a pattern (that wont work upside down) I suggest just using the JORDY tut. or you'll have to sew a bottom piece and side pieces anyway

you can cut the dimensions [[did I spell that right??]] to fit your needs

42  Re: Questions About Hairstyles! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by Babyangel on: November 17, 2007 04:11:23 PM
Oh i have longish hair and its starting to look really crap. I'd love to see pics too

So, I've decided to grow out my hair. It's now a little past chin-length. I've had it long before (waist length- it was donated!), and it was just one length!
I'm asking for ideas or pictures of long hair (shoulder or longer) that's not just one length. I'm thinking layers, bangs, and I'm a bit lost at what kind of style I'm looking for!
Thanks!

its longer now this is it super straight

Thanks so much and btw - great job!!!!

Lucky you I still have some left to make her wallet!

Sykel Ent., a Div of Fabrique Innovations, Inc. Pattern # FIREMEN021
I found them on line here,
http://www.sykelenterprises.com/licensed_fleece.asp?browse=13
but they do not sell to individuals and I could only find the fleece on the site

BUT...

Found it at walmart ladies. It was 4.44 a yard.

46  Love Letter box- image heavy ...now with link to online tut... in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Babyangel on: November 04, 2007 07:28:58 PM
I hope Ive put this in an appropriate place ....

A while back I made this "Love Letter" Box Its quite possibly my favorite thing Ive ever made, I moved around a lot and it got left in boxes in storage due to lack of room ... I found it looking for more crafting stuff!
The second I saw it I knew I had to share it with everyone here....
so without further adieu:

I adore this thing and plan on making more, I need to find someone whos good at faux finish painting so they can paint me some vintage envelopes.

Id love to know what everyone thinks!

*****Link provided by Staciart to the Carol Duvall tut (who knew?)*****
This is fabulous! I've never known anyone who has made this - looks way better than mine!  I was trying to do the one from Carol Duvall show, but couldn't get it to look anywhere near as good as your  :\

Smiley     I rocked it, too!  Here is a link for instructions: http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_paper_crafts_boxes/article/0,,HGTV_3289_1399648,00.html

47  dragonfly, snowflake and crazy belt! in Beads: Completed Projects by Babyangel on: October 24, 2007 02:51:22 PM
I love these! This was one of my favorites, it used to be on a clear stretchy necklace worn as a choker with my Poca-Hottness [LOL] halloween costume a few years back...

"snowflake" - I made a ton of these for my friends mini christmas tree in various colors...

I made this belt to wear with my Pocca-Hotness halloween costume too ... took FOREVER! all seed beads ...yikes!

48  I even impressed myself with this one! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Babyangel on: October 20, 2007 09:55:56 AM
The outer fabric is from a table runner I got for 2 bucks!
The linner (holy cow I actually did a liner in a purse) is leftover sheets I used to actually make a trial run on a dress ... see here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=203033.0

49  trial run in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Babyangel on: October 20, 2007 09:54:27 AM
I got a pattern (McCalls M512-Hillary Duff collection) I wanted to do a trial run cheap Because the only thing Ive sewn larger than a purse was my costume last year with the help of good ole' moms. This time no mom ... I used a sheet that I got uber cheap, It turned out good enough to wear in public!  Cheesy

The back doesnt gape open like this I guess its the way Im standing...

I plan on making it next in the fabric I originally picked out but Im adding sleeves since its getting chilly here.
