11  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Re: Forever 21 halter dress, HELP! on: August 25, 2007 12:14:00 AM
Hey cutek94, I can't say I am an expert here, but I can say from what I have learned it is always best to sew a muslin (cheap fabric) pattern first. That will ensure the best fit too. But if you want to just see if you can put it all together, I would do the doll size out of cheap fabric.
12  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Abalone Shell Veneer Mosaic on: August 21, 2007 11:03:55 AM
I would love to learn how to make pendants similar to the image. Does anyone have any ideas or links to get me started? I know where to get the veneers but I don't know what to apply it to or how to make it a smooth mosaic? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Since I don't know how to post a image the link is http://www.beadsandpieces.com/reshpe1.html. And the Item # I am trying to figure out how to do is SP1940CA-BW.
