1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Onesie for my cousin's baby shower on: August 25, 2008 01:36:11 PM
My cousin is having a baby next month and I'm not swimming in cash, so I decided I would embroider a couple of things for her. This was my favorite (their last name is Trout).

The onesie:

I had to freehand the trout because I didn't have any patterns close to it!

2  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / 2nd project - the cat's pajamas on: August 30, 2007 12:53:48 PM
This is my second completed project. I picked up a pair of shorts at Jo-Ann's last night for $2 (yay for clearance) and put the cat from Jenny's Sublime Stitching book on the leg.

I think it turned out pretty good. My first experimentations with satin stitch.

3  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Silly question - iron on transfer on black fabric? on: August 30, 2007 07:31:26 AM
I bought a dog t-shirt to embroider last night, but, silly me, I bought a black one! So now I can't iron-on a transfer...is there a pen or something available that will put a white pattern on black fabric?
4  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Pistol whipped - My first project on: August 26, 2007 05:31:59 PM
My first project! The classic tea towel. My kitchen is decorated in cowboys, so I got the Country Cool patterns and whipped this one up. It's a little shaky, but it was fun!

Eventually I'm going to do the cowgirl on some curtains.

Sorry, can't post the actual photos:

Towel.
