It's a friend's birthday gift.  I'm nervous about any 'home-made' gifts, but hopefully she'll like it! 

Looking at the picture I realize I need to iron that bugger.   

I made a throw pillow for a friend... the first of three.  Her birthday is coming up.

It has some simple embroidery, but since it is 90% PILLOW I thought it belonged in this category.

Any ideas of what to do with it??  I don't even have the cake instructions that came with the box... just the bag   I might make cupcakes?  I just don't know how to do it in a tasty way.   

A friend and I are doing doing a 'bag exchange' where we each make each other a bag and mail them off.  I tried to make her's big enough to suit a laptop, but I didn't make a big enough seam allowance - woops!  I wanted to make the bag extra sturdy to hold a weighty laptop, so I used a french seam for the bottom of the bag... only now the bag isn't even big enough to fit a laptop.  Irony! 







It's about 98% finished.  I was too excited to take pictures to cut off the loose threads   

There is a pocket in the front, though it looks almost invisible. 

I bought a skein each of green and blue yarn at a garage sale and came home to realize I had the rainbow colors.     This is what happened.  And then it needed "clouds" on the ends, so I used this glimmery eyelash yarn for the fringe. 



Sorry there aren't any more pictures!  It's hard to get a good shot of the length, but tied around my neck it reaches the top of my hips.  It's a scarf.  It does scarf-like things. 

What do you think?   

Unfortunately I'm not help, but I second this question.  (I asked for the same thing for a 'gift day' that we have, and no one has any idea what I'm talking about). 

That is so adorable.  I love the embroidery!  Did you use pattern for the bee or did you just freehand it?

I drew it in chalk first, then embroidered.     It was really simple.

I needed a new tote for work, and after finding some BEE fabric, I had to make a bag out of it.  Simple, but sturdy and it holds so much.

I actually do have a question xD  You post a lot of resin stuff, and it's probably just the rate in which I see them, but how long do yours take to cure?  'Cause you do loooots :O  Is there a way to make them cure faster?
