1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Tardis embroidery on: May 14, 2011 05:46:17 PM
This was my hoop for the Dr. Whoopla swap, I was very excited about it and loved making it! Even though I had big plans to start with, it is mostly stem, back and satin stitched, although there is some lattice stitching in the tardis doors.

2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Tiny Captain Mal on: November 01, 2009 12:06:46 PM
I am a total sewing novice, but since my son is named Malcolm, I decided he absolutely had to be Captain Mal for Halloween. And what does Mal need most of all? A brown coat, of course!

He also has suspenders and a holster.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Lotsa baby booties on: August 20, 2008 03:30:31 AM
My sister is having quads soon, and since I already knew of at least two people making blankets for them, I went booties! There are 3 girls and 1 boy, so the girls got little ballet slippers while the boy got loafers in Bengals colors so he can hang out in style while watching the games with his dad.

I'm really bad at taking pictures!

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Mostly Babette on: May 26, 2008 07:31:05 AM
Made this for a new niece - only used 9 out of the 10 sections, but I like the size. The border is slightly different from the pattern as well. I used Dale of Norway Baby Ull and it is so soft and lovely. I really love how colorful and crazy this blanket is, and since my sister didn't want to find out the sex of the baby I had to do something neutral.

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Two story windows help on: April 12, 2008 05:05:25 PM
We've been in our house almost 6 months, and I still haven't come up with anything for these windows! We'll be painting the room soon, after that I am determined to get it taken care of. Any suggestions?

6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Bear and bunny on: January 26, 2008 09:18:56 AM
It took me a long time to get the pictures off the camera, but here are the bear and the bunny in a dress I made for my nephew and niece this Christmas! The bear is rheatheylia's pattern from this post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=198729.0, and the bunny is from the book Mr. Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful.

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Scarflette, and a very chubby dalek on: September 08, 2007 04:57:45 PM
I am very ready for winter to start! I used some red and black acrylic left over, and started making a shell stitch, and it turned into a scarflette! It is very cozy!

And after all the inspiration I've seen here, I wanted to try my hand at an amigurumi, and my husband requested a dalek! Not perfect, by any means, but I think he's kind of cute.

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Baby loafers on: August 30, 2007 06:48:59 PM
These were meant to be booties from the pamphlet Precious Baby Booties I picked up at Michaels so I could make a gift for when we visited our college pals with a new baby, but I messed up a bit, so they're more loafers. I think I like it!

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Fleur de lis baby blanket on: August 20, 2007 07:14:12 PM
My largest project so far! I thought I'd never finish for a while there, but I've finally finished. The baby is born, but not a week old yet. I think I did ok! Made fromhttp://www.crochetmagazine.com/free_patterns/pdfs/fp_mar05_baby_afghan.pdfthis pattern.
