1  Tardis embroidery in Needlework: Completed Projects by crochetbear on: May 14, 2011 05:46:17 PM
This was my hoop for the Dr. Whoopla swap, I was very excited about it and loved making it! Even though I had big plans to start with, it is mostly stem, back and satin stitched, although there is some lattice stitching in the tardis doors.

I received today! Whee! Scultebunny had asked if I'd mind two smaller hoops, and I said OF COURSE NOT, and they are awesome!

My package! It's as if easter exploded with the joy of Dr Who! Love it!

Hoop the first - so cute and well done! In my favorite colors and one of my very favorite quotes!

Hoop the second! Creeeeepy in the best way! My husband and I have debated whether it would be wrong to dress up our son in little short pants and a gas mask for halloween... we'll see if I can hold out once he can do a british accent!

Even the backs are pretty!

Hung up

Their new home!

I love my hoops! Thanks so much, schultebunny!

3  Re: Doctor Who Swap round 5 gallery in The Swap Gallery by crochetbear on: February 28, 2011 04:52:23 AM
My partner received but is out of town. I'm not sure when she'll be back. I can only access one of my pictures due to computer issues, so here is a sneak peek of what I sent her!

The eleventh doctor, in tote bag and amigurumi forms! Also a Tardis bookmark, although that's hard to see.

Love everything so far - that lap quilt is lovely!

My package arrived today! I was out at lunch with my sister, I was bummed I'd have to wait even a second longer, but it was her birthday so she won out.

The shirts say "Come Along Pond!" and "Books! The Best Weapons in the World!" which is very apt for a librarian! Smiley I even get my very own 11th doctor to snuggle, and a teensy tardis of my own! Don't worry birdies, it is bigger on the inside! Wink

This swap was so fun!

5  Tiny Captain Mal in Halloween Costumes by crochetbear on: November 01, 2009 12:06:46 PM
I am a total sewing novice, but since my son is named Malcolm, I decided he absolutely had to be Captain Mal for Halloween. And what does Mal need most of all? A brown coat, of course!

He also has suspenders and a holster.

6  Lotsa baby booties in Crochet: Completed Projects by crochetbear on: August 20, 2008 03:30:31 AM
My sister is having quads soon, and since I already knew of at least two people making blankets for them, I went booties! There are 3 girls and 1 boy, so the girls got little ballet slippers while the boy got loafers in Bengals colors so he can hang out in style while watching the games with his dad.

I'm really bad at taking pictures!

7  Mostly Babette in Crochet: Completed Projects by crochetbear on: May 26, 2008 07:31:05 AM
Made this for a new niece - only used 9 out of the 10 sections, but I like the size. The border is slightly different from the pattern as well. I used Dale of Norway Baby Ull and it is so soft and lovely. I really love how colorful and crazy this blanket is, and since my sister didn't want to find out the sex of the baby I had to do something neutral.

8  Two story windows help in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by crochetbear on: April 12, 2008 05:05:25 PM
We've been in our house almost 6 months, and I still haven't come up with anything for these windows! We'll be painting the room soon, after that I am determined to get it taken care of. Any suggestions?

9  Re: Beary Jackson, amigurumi bear with pattern! (img heavy) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by crochetbear on: January 29, 2008 01:58:50 PM
I made one too! I had put him in a separate post with my bunny as well, but I loved this pattern! It was really easy to follow!

10  Bear and bunny in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by crochetbear on: January 26, 2008 09:18:56 AM
It took me a long time to get the pictures off the camera, but here are the bear and the bunny in a dress I made for my nephew and niece this Christmas! The bear is rheatheylia's pattern from this post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=198729.0, and the bunny is from the book Mr. Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful.

Action Shot!
